In Halo Reach there is also fire fight which is really fun.
But, because of your problems with lag, and no gold account, i would have to say Starcraft 2, because you can do most of the fun stuff on 1 computer, sure you can't play your bro, but you can do matchmaking campaign and custom game, which is AWESOME! So i say Starcraft2

Nono, I wouldn't have lag with Halo, my internet is fine, my computer is the one that wouldn't run Starcraft 2 properly, so I use my brothers', just to clarify. Thanks for the suggestion! :D

Well now that COD is gone i would have to say...Halo Reach its way better in armor and its kinda like an rpg with the weps and stuf
Starcraft 2 has is awesome, but if you want the full story it's being in released in 3 parts which you have to buy. Multiplayer is fun, but if you want to be any good at it you have to be in it for the long haul.
Starcraft 2 is 10x the game any Halo game could ever be.
